Design

1. Integral flush design

• BL-3T is an integral connection threaded on PE pipe on OD of connection totally flush with the pipe body

2. External torque shoulder

• A reverse angle external torque shoulder provides a positive torque stop.

• The shoulder also allow visual confirmation of power-tight make-up position.

3. Multiple seal system

• An external seal and an internal seal work independently of each other to achieve sealing annular and well bore pressure.

• The multiple seal design ensure gas-tight sealing integrity to 100% of the rated burst and collapse of pope body

4. Interference tapered thread

• BL-3T is designed for 60% efficiency under tension

• Thread stabling flank has a 45 degree angle for fast, trouble free make-up.

• Thread stabbing flank has a 15 degree angle to resist jump out.

• BL-3T can bear a high bending resistance.

5. Streamlined internal and external profile

• The OD and ID are 100% flush (no upset)

• The ID is bored and recess-free for smooth, efficient flow.

• The OD is turned to tight tolerances.
