1. Preliminary preparation

3. Plane chamfering process

Chamfer equipment selection: According to the size and chamfer requirements of seamless steel pipe, choose the appropriate chamfer equipment (such as milling head chamfer machine, grinder, etc.).

 

Chamfering operation:

Fix the cut seamless steel pipe on the chamfering device.

 

According to the predetermined chamfer Angle (it is generally recommended to master between 15-30 degrees, excessive chamfer will cause pressure loss) for chamfer processing.

 

In the chamfering process, pay attention to control the chamfering speed, feed rate and cutting depth to ensure the smoothness and uniformity of the chamfering surface.

 

4. Follow-up treatment

Check and repair:

Check the seamless steel pipe after chamfering to ensure that the chamfer Angle, smoothness and uniformity meet the requirements.

 

If the chamfer effect is not ideal, it should be trimmed in time.

 

Cleaning and protection:

The seamless steel pipe after chamfering is cleaned to remove metal chips and oil stains generated during processing.

 

As required, the steel pipe should be treated with rust prevention or coated with protective coating.
