PetroChina's first million-ton zero-fossil energy consumption oil field was completed
"Since the heat pump station was put into operation, we have stopped using four heating furnaces, which has reduced the consumption of natural gas by 2,000 cubic meters per day and is expected to save 730,000 cubic meters of natural gas annually. At present, the Hudson Oilfield has achieved zero consumption of fossil energy, becoming the first Chinese petroleum company A million-ton oil field with zero fossil energy consumption,” said Liu Liangyu, party branch secretary and deputy station director of Hade Fourth Joint Station in Hade Oil and Gas Management Area of Tarim Oilfield on August 13.
Zero fossil energy consumption refers to the use of wind, solar power generation, solar thermal and other systems to replace fossil energy with clean energy to achieve zero carbon dioxide emissions without using fossil energy. The establishment of zero-fossil energy consumption oil fields will help mitigate global climate change and is of great significance to promoting energy transformation, improving energy security, promoting economic development, and enhancing international competitiveness.
The Hudson Oilfield is located in the hinterland of the Taklimakan Desert in Shaya County, Aksu Prefecture, Xinjiang. It was put into development in 1998. The oil field produces nearly 4 million tons of liquid annually and consumes a lot of energy. In response to this reality, the Harde Oil and Gas Management Zone has launched a set of measures to achieve zero fossil energy consumption: shut down a million-ton combined station and a 100,000-cubic-meter natural gas device, and reduce 90 power-consuming equipment and gas equipment. , shut down 4 gas heating furnaces and 59 electromagnetic heaters; built 3 sets of 1100 kilowatt heat pump units, using the waste heat of oil field produced water to replace gas heating furnaces for heating and heating in living parks and stations, achieving annual reductions in natural gas consumption 1.038 million cubic meters. At the same time, we vigorously implement green energy substitution measures, and through measures such as installing solar thermal storage heating furnaces and building distributed photovoltaic power stations that generate 20.4 million kilowatt-hours of annual power, production and operation are fully electrified, becoming a millionaire with zero gas consumption and zero oil consumption at the production site. ton-level oil fields.
In the next step, the Harde Oil and Gas Management Area will increase its efforts in photovoltaic substitution and solar thermal furnace substitution, and plans to build centralized photovoltaic power stations for grid-connected power generation and distributed photovoltaics to achieve 100% green power substitution in the joint station. At the same time, we will sort out the fugitive carbon emissions from the entire process of oil and gas production and gray electricity carbon emissions that cannot be completely replaced, make full use of green power certificates and forestry carbon sinks to supplement offsets, and strive to build China Petroleum's first million-ton "zero-carbon joint station, Zero Carbon Oilfield".
