Technology Exchange Conference on China's Oil and Gas Reservoirs
The China Oil and Gas Reservoir Transformation Technology Exchange Conference took place in Yinchuan from July 14 to 15, with the focus being on "Promoting the High-Quality Development of Reservoir Transformation Technology to Support the Increase in Domestic Oil and Gas Reserves and Green Development." In order to vigorously support the high-quality development of reservoir transformation technology, the conference presented new theories, approaches, and technologies related to domestic oil and gas reservoir transformation as well as ground-breaking innovations in fracturing theory and key technologies.
Experts and academics in attendance addressed the development trends of green and low-carbon technologies such intelligent fracturing and electrically-driven fracturing equipment. They also discussed effective techniques for tackling the constraints in reservoir transformation technology. China has led the improvement of reservoir transformation technology in recent years by inventing new concepts and procedures for fracturing transformation. China has made substantial advancements in reservoir transformation technology.Regarding the development trends of reservoir transformation technology, experts believe that it is necessary to strengthen laboratory upgrading to provide theoretical support for the advancement of fracturing technology, accelerate the digital transformation of fracturing technology to support the high-quality development of reservoir transformation, establish application models focused on maximizing fracture-controlled reserves to enhance the quality of shale oil and gas resource development, and construct a scientific engineering cost and digital supervision management system to create a new model for efficient project management implementation.
The Petroleum Engineering Professional Committee of the China Petroleum Society hosted the event, and about 500 specialists and academics from various institutions took part in it offline.
